Winter Walks, Firework Displays and Lazy Days
There’s so much to do and see in November here on our reserve, whether you escape with close friends or the whole family. Don’t forget to pack a good woolly jumper, a warm jacket and of course some wellies for exploring the various nature trails on foot. Our cabins are all pet friendly so you can bring the dog along too – there’s plenty of space inside for their dog beds and toys, and even more space outside for pups to run wild. For Bonfire Night celebrations, check out our cotswold travel blog for recommended firework displays in our local area to. Our locals love to gather around an enormous bonfire with mulled wine so you’ll be sure to find something nearby. And you can end your night with a dip in your own private hot tub underneath the stars.
Book A Romantic Lake Getaway
Witness the last of autumn colours combined with the start of the winter frosts; November is such a romantic time to book one of our lakeside cabins here in the Cotswolds. Spend a lazy morning in your large king size bed before heading out to enjoy a romantic lakeside walk. As you meander around the lake, look out for the otters which might be spotted playing in the water. When you’re back, chuck a few more logs on the fire and reading from your cabin’s mini library or take your own private rowing boat out on the lake. Whatever you plan to do, our 130 acre reserve and luxury Scandinavian cabins are made for couples weekends in the cotswolds. From sharing champagne in the hot tub to candle lit suppers made in the comfort of your self-catering cabin, romance is in the air this November.
November In The Cotswolds
For things to do in the Cotswolds in November, be sure to check out our online Guide to the Cotswolds. For something grand and exciting, we recommend the famous Cheltenham Racecourse or if you want something for the whole family, why not do a spot of early Christmas shopping in Cheltenham town centre? There’s also a fantastic Christmas market in Bath every year at the end of the month plus the pretty towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Broadway also have late night Christmas shopping markets in late November.
