luxury weekend breaks

Every log cabin has the option of a traditional Finnish wooden hot tub overlooking the lake for ultimate relaxation and romance. Heated to a perfect 40 degrees. Watching sunsets and sunrises from your steaming hot tub is always a highlight whatever the season.

boating holidays in the cotswolds

All of our log houses come with their own private Irish loch rowing boats; perfect for exploring the lake and for heading out in search of otters! Kayaks or paddle boards can also be requested for a more energetic day on the lake and as a great way to get really close to nature.

family holiday with fire pit

We’ve provided each lodge with a fun lakeside fire pit. Waiting at your cabin is also a Fire Box with firelighters, matches, skewers and marshmallows. In the evenings, gather round the roaring fire with views across the lake and stars above and enjoy some toasted marshmallows. This is a great place to wind down at the end of each day and is perfect for making both family memories and romantic occasions. You’ll find a box of cosy blankets at your cabin so you can sit around the fire pit in all seasons.

Sometimes you’ve got to just turn off and our cosy cabins are the perfect place to do just that. Snuggle up in front of the log fire with a good book or catch up on that box set you’ve been meaning to watch. That’s what holidays are all about. You’ll also find a collection of classic board games to enjoy whilst you decide when your next hot tub will be.

This is one of the best ways to see the abundant wildlife that we have here. With so much space to enjoy, our cabins are perfect for pet friendly holidays in the UK.

The Cotswold Water Park is fast becoming an important area nationally for over 200 species of birds. There is lots to see throughout the year from great crested grebe, starlings and kingfishers to bitten, nightingales and osprey. We have a tern colony on one of the gravel islands too which is fantastic to watch from a swing chair we have hung nearby. Take the binoculars we have left in your cabin and see what you can spot. The Waterpark Trust have created an excellent wildlife checklist for birdwatching holidays that you can find here.

It is easy to pass away the time by taking in the abundant wildlife and scenery that has made this place a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
