Summer is on its way and it’s a great time to book your luxury eco holiday with us here on our lake. As the trees and wild flowers are almost in full bloom, our nature reserve is looking its greenest. The clear spring fed lake is starting to become a welcoming sight on a hot afternoon and you may even be able to enjoy some wild swimming. This is also the perfect time for a picnic around the reserve or on one of the many islands dotted on the lake, which can be reached by your own private rowing boat. If this sounds good, avoid the peak season and book an early summer holiday in Maytime.
We just loved everything about this hideaway holiday. From roasting marshmallows round the fire pit to watching the sunset from the hot tub and going round the lake in our own row boat. I haven’t got enough compliments to give! We will definitely be back in the near future!

Book For May Bank Holiday
Make the most of the two bank holidays in May by booking a late spring break here on our reserve. Just a single day added to a weekend seems to make it feel so much better. So take advantage of this and book a long weekend holiday or an extended week break in one of our luxury cabins. With summer weather on the brink, you can make the most of the outdoors before the mad holiday rush. From long bike rides to find the best Cotswold pubs and exploring quaint villages to paddle boarding across the water and enjoying a BBQ with a view, a late spring break simply doesn’t get any better. And getting to finish each long day around the fire pit or in your lake side hot tub under the stars will surely entice you even more. Our dog friendly holiday retreat also means the whole family can escape for some fun.
Half Term Fun With The Kids
Enjoy Cotswold adventures with the kids for Whitsun half term and book a short break in our safe, secure and outstandingly beautiful nature reserve. Unwind at your cabin knowing that the kids can explore the lake by boat, bike or on foot in a safe and inspiring environment. Here at Log House Holidays, we strongly believe that letting our kids explore the great outdoors is essential in helping them understand more about the world around them, as well as nurturing creativity and health. And our lake reserve is the perfect location to let them run wild. Besides, you can always keep one eye on them from the comfort of your steaming hot tub…
