The Cotswold Discovery Trail offer a novel way to explore the Cotswolds whether you’re staying at the lake with friends or on a family holiday. Their beautiful map has 2 day long trails for you to follow by car, stopping at the many Cotswold highlights set out on the routes. The maps are designed as treasure trails, with loads of information to uncover and questions and clues to answer on the way that illuminate and enlighten the rich history and heritage of the area.
As well as your map, the pack also includes activities for younger children, the Local Logo Challenge, a compass, car stickers, pens, paper and a welcome letter to ensure you are setting off ready and in the right direction. The trails are designed to full day each but you can of course chose to do part of loop if that works better. One is set in the North Cotswolds and the other in the South. The trails are loops with multiple start points for you to choose from, making it easy for you to join the Trail from where you are staying. The total drive time is between 2-3 hours leaving the rest of the time for exploring each location on foot and enjoying your time in the Cotswolds!
