Easter is a great time to bring your family and friends to our private lake here in the Cotswolds. With the kids off school, a short cabin break filled with fun outdoor activities is the perfect treat for them. It’s not just about the kids though as there are plenty of grown up indulgences on our unique Cotswold reserve. From the relaxing traditional hot tub that hangs over the unspoilt lake outside your lodge to the big comfy beds and cosy log fire, every retreat is designed for 5 star luxury. Our family run team look forward to welcoming you for an Easter break soon.
If the Easter bunny lived anywhere it would be at the lake! Our kids just loved the egg hunt we did around the lake and it was a magical few days away for everyone. Thank you Anthony.

A Secluded Easter Hideaway
Book your stay with Log House Holidays and enjoy complete seclusion in a stunning natural location. What makes our lakeside lodges unique is that they are carefully hidden around our large reserve all on the water’s edge, so you’ll have complete privacy with no other cabin in sight. The 100 acre lake is also dotted with lots of interesting islands and coves so it’s a real adventure for the whole family to explore. The best way to discover the lake is with your own 19ft Irish rowing boat which will be waiting on your cabin’s private pier on arrival.
The Promise Of Spring Time
Spring is one of our favourite times to be at the lake. There are swathes of wildflowers to enjoy as you walk the lakeside trail and the calls of birds will bring the outdoors to life. An uplifting experience after the winter period. If you are exploring the Cotswolds area, be sure to look out for newly born spring lambs bouncing around the fields. Some of the top tourist sites in the wider Cotswolds region will also hold fun events and egg hunts during the run up to Easter. Plus we definitely recommend checking out Westonbirt Arboretum, just 20 minutes’ drive away.
Easter Activities For The Kids
With lots of space for the kids to let off steam, our private reserve is a great place to host an Easter egg hunt. Whether it’s a hunt on foot, by boat or by bike, your little ones are sure to make some great memories here. Just make sure to not leave any chocolates at doggie height, as it’s not very healthy for our four legged friends staying with us for a dog holiday. And when it’s time to wind down, reward yourself with a few moments in the hot tub and a few marshmallows toasted on the fire pit beneath the stars.
