Experience Cotswold Lakes
Cotswold Lakes is an area of 40 square miles with over 150 lakes – making it an ideal place for eco-friendly holidays in the UK. Whatever the season, this beautiful landscape has something to offer. From lakeside nature walks to swimming and sailing in the spring fed lakes, there’s something to do all year round. Spring holidays are a time of wild flowers and fresh greenery, summer breaks are perfect for al fresco dining out on our deck, autumn weekend getaways are a time for romantic walks, whilst winter escapes are for enjoying the uniquely romantic views. Just a few metres from our lake runs the River Thames and following the Thames path to the source just 4 miles away is a lovely walk if you are on a holiday with your dogs. Venture out to the waterski lake and you can also enjoy waterskiing, wakeboarding or banana boating plus we can arrange for kayaks or paddleboards to be used on our own private lake.

Our cabins are authentic, eco-friendly and uniquely decorated with antique furniture and beautiful art. But what makes holidays in Cotswold Lakes really special is the total seclusion. Each traditional Finnish log cabin has been carefully hidden away around the lake’s edge so you’ll feel a million miles away. Whichever retreat you choose, a rowing boat awaits at your own pier for a spot of fishing on holiday and a secluded fire pit on your own private beach by the water’s edge. The large lakeside decking is a great place to enjoy BBQs or al fresco meals and for sunrises and sunsets throughout the year, there’s no better place to watch than from your private outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake. And inside your luxury retreat, you’ll find beautifully decorated rooms and a crackling log fire to make the perfect finish to every day.
Activities On A Private Lake
You don’t have to go far to enjoy fun activities on our private lake and reserve. For a holiday with paddle boards and kayaks, there’s no better place for great fun with all the family. If you’re on a romantic midweek break, sit back in your own rowing boat and explore the hidden islands and coves whilst finding a secret spot to picnic. You can also enjoy a day of fishing, cycling or you can walk the 2.5 mile lake trail through woodlands and to get the most amazing lake views. Or if you don’t want to do anything at all, just unwind in your hot tub with a view and simply recharge those batteries.
