A SUMMER HOLIDAY ON A LAKE
Plan your stay at Log House Holidays this summer and spend quality time with friends and family in the great outdoors. With great weather on your side, summer is the best time to enjoy activities around the lake and in the surrounding Cotswolds; from exploring the coves and islands in your own rowing boat to cycling around picturesque villages nearby. If it’s a hot day, you can cool off in the clear spring-fed lake from your cabins private beach, pier or by just jumping off the side of your kayak! We can also arrange paddle boards for our guests so you can enjoy the lake views and surrounding nature as you glide around – it’s a fantastic workout and fun for all ages.
AL FRESCO DINING AT YOUR LAKESIDE LODGE
Our luxury log cabins all come with your own private decked area, a great place to enjoy al fresco dining in the summer. Rustle up a lavish breakfast to the sound of morning birdsong, a relaxing lunch overlooking the lake or a celebration supper under the stars. With your open-pit BBQ and fully equipped kitchen, self-catering in our log cabins couldn’t be easier. Pack a picnic to take on your rowing boat before you search for your favourite island for a afternoon on the picnic rug. The perfect way to spend a romantic short break in the UK or even your special minimoon staycation! Our log house holidays are designed to help you make the most of the outdoors, so al fresco is always on the menu.
NATURE HOLIDAYS FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Summer is such good time for a cabin fishing holiday so don’t forget the rod when you set off in your very own rowing boat on the lake. From your boat you may be lucky enough to spot a king fisher, our resident otter family or one of the 17 varieties of dragonfly that helped make our estate an SSSI (Special Site of Scientific Interest). And you can finish off your day with the toasty lakeside fire pit outside your cabin. Take a look at the ‘Seasons’ section of Guide to the Cotswolds to discover the best things to do in summer in the local area.
