We’ve been very busy this summer pulling together our new Cotswold guide…
A great way for you to get inspired about this gorgeous part of England. Once you’ve booked your holiday use it to make exciting plans for your time away. Whether its a romantic getaway, a family break or a group holiday, we have picked out some of the real highlights that mustn’t be missed. Check out the ‘Seasons’ section and ‘The Cotswold Calendar’ section to see some ‘must do’s’ for your time relaxing with us. There are lots of tips too for your holiday, from being more eco-friendly whilst your’e away to making sure you pack everything you need for a dog-friendly holiday.
One of our favourite sections is the ‘Food and Drink’ drop down. Pick one of our top 10 Cotswold pubs (or visit them all!) and appreciate what a quintessential English pub is all about. We’ve covered our top 3 Cotswold villages, top 3 Cotswold towns, best farmers markets, tea rooms, country walks and cycle routes to name a few of the lists. Being in the Cotswolds we have also listed our favourite picnic spots to head to if your’e planning a romantic escape. The ‘Shopping’ sections looks at the best places to visit in the area – covering everything from antiques and home-ware to high street brands.
Even if your’e on a budget holiday or you have a few rainy days whilst you are here, we have pulled together some top things to do for free or for when it’s wet. With our nearest town being Cirencester there’s a whole section on this fascinating town as you will certainly see it at some point on your Cotswold break.
Whether you are just looking for something to do for an afternoon on your midweek break or for a whole weeks itinerary we hope this guide will help. Feel free to give us a call if you want to talk to us about any aspect of your holiday in the Cotswolds. We look forward to welcoming you to your lakeside retreat in the Cotswolds soon…
