Today we enjoyed a short walk to a new attraction. On the edge of Somerford Keynes, The Elemental Sculpture Park is well worth a visit.
Passionate owner, David Hartland, has carefully landscaped this woodland area over the last 21 years with an amazing collection of trees, shrubs and plants.
Following a route map, or just meandering the paths, it’s a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on your Cotswold holiday. After exploring the park, the Popping Tearoom on site serves delicious tea and cakes.
A perfect afternoon adventure for a romantic getaway or a family holiday next summer.
If you don’t fancy walking across the fields, there is parking and the drive is just a couple of minutes. If going by foot, turn right out of our entrance gate and look for the footpath signed ‘Somerford Keynes’ on the left after a couple of hundred metres. This path takes you over the River Thames, across fields and into the village. From here head left out of the village towards Cirencester and the park is just a hundred metres on the right.
